Dire Maul East

Last night, Jaramon and several guildies made a foray into Dire Maul East and came out the other side, mostly in one piece.  (For the record, paralytic poisons are cheap and unfair as heck..)

We had a few close calls, no boss wipes and only one pair of death incidents.  (The first was a very under level Guildie who had to drop, the second was myself and the Guild Leader getting downed by paralytic poisons.  I managed to ghoul and keep the party alive until I went splat)  I suspect with a healer it would be much better, and less harrowing at times.  (In fact, the bosses were easier than the clusters of satyr rouges and plant groups.)

In other news, Carbonite is fired.   Carbonite Quest started throwing messages after the last update to upgrade or it would stop working and it did.  The developers aren’t feeling inclined to actually fix the free product, instead directing people to get the pay client.  Normally I wouldnt care, but instead of just not updating, they actually disabled their addon for users.  Otherwise I might have considered the pay version, but there is no way I am rewarding slimy behavior.  So, they are fired.  I am back on Quest Helper and have installed Cartographer, which seem to be doing the job for me.

The daily quests have been a ball and I have found the Skyguard quests in Terokkar forest, which seem to be a bit of fun too.  I keep trying to get the achievement for doing dailies 5 days in a row, but it took a few days to figure out the reset time.
