77 *ding*, 78 *ding*

So within an hour of posting on Wednesday, Jaramon hit 77 in Sholozar basin.  He also managed to do the cold weather flying quest and get cold weather flying before artisan riding, which was a VERY welcome surprise.  I really don’t have any images, because the levels flew by.

I went to Zul’Drak and was able to do more Ebon Blade missions which were cool.  I think that Blizzard would have been much cooler to include Death Knight only threads to these quests, since they are that class’ main faction. However, the quest line makes up for it by making you join up with the Scourge in disguise.  From feeding Ghouls to sending abominations to beat up trolls and lure away the leaders, the quest line gives the players a bit of a taste of being part of the Scourge.  It was amusing and well thought out and provided one of those perspective moments.  I also hit 78 and am on the final approach to the very end game of the current iteration of WoW.

Zul’Drak brings back the war footing feel that the Borean Tundra has and gives excellent feeling to the “going to War against Arthas” aspect of the expansion.

I suspect that 3.1 drops next week or the first week in April.  I, for one, cannot wait.
